The eldest son of Shri Mahaprabhuji was born in Adel near Prayag in the year 1567. Shri Mahaprabhu was so happy that He gave lots of charity to Brahmins, beggars and poor. After performing the thread ceremony at the age of 7, He became the student of Shri Mahaprabhuji. Shri Mahaprabhuji's spiritual knowledge had left a lot of impact on Shri Gopinathji. He learned to recite Shrimad Bhagwati. He would remain without food for 3/4 days, as He had promised, that He would remain without food until He had recited Shrimad Bhagwatji.
This distressed His mother, and thus Shri Mahaprabhuji penned PURSHOTTAM SHASTRANAAM which was the gist of Shrimad Bhagvatji and asked Shri Gopinathji to read daily.
He attained the rank of ACHARYA at the age of 19. He married Shri Payamama Bahuji and had one son Purshottamji and 2 daughters named Laxmi and Satyabhama. He was the calm and impressive scholar. His liked reading Scriptures and visiting Sacred Places. He had been to Dwarka and Jaganathpuri many times. He was sacrificial nature with a virtuous heart and led a disciplined and happy life. There was a good bonding between Shri Vittalnathji and Shri Gopinathji.
Shri Gusainji said these words"Every soul which is liberated from sorrow receives happiness" thus we should bow at the feet of VALLABH NANDAN Shri Gopinath Mahaprabhu.
Shri Purushottam Maharaj in His book ANUBHASHYA PRAKASH has glorified Him as Representative of Shri Vallabh, full of light, full of humanity, full of honesty and good character. I bow at the feet of Shri Gopinathji.
SADHAN DEEPIKA a book written by Shri Gopinathji describes Indian culture, scripture, and love for Shri Krishna.
